About Our Consultant
Breanna Neighbors
BSN, RN, IBCLC
I began my career as a Registered Nurse, caring for moms and babies as a mother-baby nurse in 2016. Since then, I have worked in multiple states and hospitals, with experience ranging from mother-baby nursing in large metropolitan areas, nursery-nurse-care in small rural communities, and NICU and high-risk postpartum care in various cities. I have found that the challenge of breastfeeding and the lack of available support spans the entire spectrum.
However, it wasn’t until I became a mom myself and developed close relationships with other moms that I learned how deeply each individual's feeding experience with their baby shapes their postpartum period. While some women have wonderful stories, other women feel misunderstood and unsupported during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. These stories encouraged me to get my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in 2023. Providing supportive feeding care to mothers has now become my passion.
Originally from Alpharetta, GA where I met my husband in high school, the military has now moved us through seven different states. We currently live in Munford, Tennessee with our two boys and two dogs. Our frequent moving from place to place has shown me the importance of community and the emphasis on support through particularly tremulous times, like having a newborn! I hope to be a part of that community for you in your journey of growing your family.
