For self-pay clients you have the option to use your Healthcare Spending Account HSA or FSA card at checkout.
We can provide you with paperwork (Superbill) to request reimbursement from your insurance company.

Your Coverage-
Tricare East
Honeybee Lactation is a Network Provider with Tricare East. We will submit your claim for you with information provided in your intake form after our appointment. If booking an in-network Tricare East appointment, you will not be charged at the time of booking.
The Lactation Network-
Honeybee Lactation is also partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN). TLN takes most major insurance plans. To get started verifying your lactation benefits with TLN, CLICK HERE. They will let you know in 1-2 days about your lactation specific coverage. You can still proceed with scheduling your consultation while you wait to hear back from TLN.
If booking an in-network appointment, you will not be charged at the time of booking. For TLN clients, all the insurance details will go through them. You will only be charged in the event of a cancellation within 24 hours.
Wildflower- Cigna Clients
Honeybee Lactation is also partnered with Wildflower Health. To get started verifying your lactation benefits, CLICK HERE. They will let you know in 1-2 days about your lactation specific coverage. You can still proceed with scheduling your consultation while you wait to hear back from Wildflower Health.
If booking an in-network appointment, you will not be charged at the time of booking. For Wildflower Health clients, all the insurance details will go through them. You will only be charged in the event of a cancellation within 24 hours.
Self Pay Clients
For self-pay clients, we will take payment at the time of booking. Please see our cancellation policy below.
Per the Affordable Care Act (ACA), women have a right to breastfeeding benefits through their insurance provider. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology has a great page with information on how to access your healthcare coverage for breastfeeding. Cancellation policy- Full reimbursement will be given if cancelled 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged a $50 cancellation fee but refunded the remaining amount taken at booking.
Virtual appointments- Unfortunately, not all healthcare plans cover virtual consultations under the Affordable Care Act. Please contact you insurance provider for details. This includes if you will try and receive reimbursement via a superbill.
